Kevin Costner‘s estranged wife Christine Baumgartner has been ordered amid their divorce to vacate the California compound they shared. A judge ruled on Wednesday that the Yellowstone star’s ex must leave by the end of the month, according to Yahoo Entertainment and Fox News.
Baumgartner has until July 31 to move out of the Carpinteria, California, home—which is reportedly worth $145 million—that Costner purchased in 1988 before they wed in 2004. According to court documents, she had 30 days to leave the family home after filing for divorce per their prenuptial agreement. She filed on May 1 after more than 18 years of marriage.
The ruling appears to be a big win for Costner considering that the validity of the prenup is up in the air. Under the prenup, Baumgartner is entitled to $1.4 million. Costner claims to have paid that sum already, according to People. A hearing on the matter is set for November. “It was quick to make a ruling on that point before the premarital agreement was determined to be valid,” celebrity attorney Chris Melcher told Yahoo.
In a June 28 filing, Baumgartner stated that she would move out of the home by August 31 if a child support agreement had been made. The former couple has three teenage children together, and Baumgartner has claimed in documents that she needs $248,000 per month to sustain their lifestyle. According to Costner’s lawyers via documents reviewed by Yahoo, “Guideline monthly child support based on Kevin’s gross cash flow available for support is $123,620.”
Costner has alleged that Baumgartner is seeking to fund her own lifestyle, which includes plastic surgery expenses and trips on private jets. Time will tell how it all plays out.
