This weekend, RHONY favorite Luann de Lesseps is trading her cabaret class for small town charm in Luann and Sonja: Welcome To Crappie Lake. The new Bravo series will follow Luann and former RHONY co-star Sonja Morgan as they temporarily relocate to Benton, Illinois.

Luann will certainly be turning her life upside down in the new series—in more ways than one. The Crappie Lake stars will live in a cheap motel throughout their stay in Benton, trading their luxury New York lifestyle for something much more humble. The pair will work to “revitalize” Benton following devastation caused by the COVID pandemic.

As a reality television star, Luann’s typical lifestyle is quite lavish. She has several business ventures outside of her RHONY gig that have kept her comfortable. Below, see everything to know about Luann’s net worth—from her books to her real estate.

How much is Luann de Lesseps’ net worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Luann is worth $25 million. So how exactly did she amass that?

She owns expensive real estate.

According to Bravo, Luann bought a $1 million dollar waterfront property in Sag Harbor in 2019. The property is 2,500 square feet, and has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and three fireplaces.

Plus: She has another stunning home in the Hamptons that was recently updated in 2019, as well as a gorgeous apartment in New York City.

According to the New York Post, the RHONY star began renting out her Sag Harbor home last summer and was asking for nearly $200,000 for two months of rent.

She’s a singer.

Luann is a very successful cabaret star as well. She made her debut in 2017, and will embark on a live tour in fall 2023. She has several hit songs including Money Can’t Buy You Class, Chic C’est La Vie, Girl Code, and Feelin’ Jovani.

Luann probably makes a decent earning off of streams, and will earn some of the tour revenue, but it isn’t clear exactly how much.

Luann’s also an author.

Believe it or not, Luann wrote an etiquette book called Class with the Countess in 2009. It’s unclear how much the RHONY star made off the venture, but it has great reviews. She’s also pursuing a second book, according to PEOPLE. There’s no set release date, but the book will be a tell-all about her sobriety journey. She has not yet found a publisher for the book.

She’s an actress.

Luann has made a number of appearances on multiple television shows, including Law & Order: SVU, Eden, and Difficult People, and she also appeared in a TV movie called Maternal Secrets, according to IMDb.

Luann could have made a decent income off of these one-off roles. According to Backstage, guest stars on bigger network shows (like SVU) can make almost $10,000 per episode.

She made serious bank on Real Housewives of New York.

Of course, as a former RHONY lead, she’s raked in serious dough from the show since 2008. In 2019, Radar Online reported that Luann wanted $3.5 million for that year’s season, although it’s unclear if she saw that cut.

In 2015, Page Six reported that Luann was making around $20,000 per scene of RHONY. At the time, the star had been “demoted” to a part-time cast member, but her pay set up meant she worked less and got paid more.

You can catch up on Luann de Lesseps’ life in Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake, which premieres on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 9 p.m. ET.
